Melinda Smith and I are presenting a full-length performance, Unbecoming, at this year’s Melbourne Fringe Festival. This work has developed out of our shared improvisation practice (a three year history) and interacts with my ongoing research in screendance and performance.
Unbecoming will be presented in the beautiful newest dance studio (Building B) at Deakin University in Burwood. It’s a little way out of town but we think it’s worth the effort.
In addition to the live performance, our screendance work from 2012, A Beautiful Day, will be screened nightly as part of Fringe Film: Digital Creatures at the Little Creatures Dining Hall, 222 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy from Thurs 18 Sept to Sun 5 Oct
